Transportation Services has set up an exhibition detailing how Kirkcaldy High Street will look when the current regeneration works are complete.
The exhibition is displayed in the windows of 251 High Street, formerly occupied by Furniture World and Reid furniture. It includes artists’ impressions of how the High Street will look after the transformation, and also provides answers to many frequently asked questions.
Transportation Services’ Technician Engineer in charge of the project, Tom Robb commented:
“The exhibition will be displayed for the duration of this project, and will be continually updated to keep the public informed about how the work is progressing.”
At a recent meeting between council officers, traders and contractors, traders commented that the worked completed by contractors Graham Construction Ltd so far had been to a very high standard, and the street had remained clean and safe throughout.
During the regeneration project, any public enquiries can be made via the council's contact centre on 08451 55 00 11.
