The Umbrella is an exciting, new activities project run by local folk for people of all backgrounds, all ages and all abilities.
The activities we run in Fife include chocolate making, arts and crafts, storytelling, junk modelling, jewellery making and lots more! Our prices start from just £1per person for an activity.

Community groups and organisations can book us to visit their meetings to run activities for their users plus we also run monthly events for anyone to join in.

Upcoming events. All held at Gillespie Church, Chapel Street, Dunfermline, 10am - 3pm:

Saturday 28th August: Open Fun Day
A selection of free, taster activities including - chocolate making, decorate your own cupcake, junk modelling.
Plus - arts, crafts and ceramic painting from just £2.50.
The coffee shop will also be serving drinks from just 50p and snacks from £1.

Saturday September 25th: A Proper, scottish Ceilidh
Storytelling, live music, highland dancers and other activities, plus Scottish fare for everyone to enjoy.

Saturday October 30th: Autumn Festival
Join in our workshops using all natural, autumnal items, such as pinecone bird feeders, cards and gift bags from pressed leaves, pumpkin pie making (and eating!) demonstration and very interesting Squirrel themed workshop....

Saturday 27th November - Christmas is Coming.  The Umbrella goes all festive, get involved and make your own presents, decorations and cards including an amazing Advent Calendar and Make Your Own Chocolates. Plus all the usual ceramic painting and food and homebaking!

Saturday 11th December - More Festive Fun:  Another chance to take part in our fun activities plus we'll have storytelling and lots of
Christmas treats to share.
