
Finding a job
Fifedirect offers a free job alerts service to anyone looking for a new job in
Just select the sort of vacancies you’re interested in and the towns/areas you would like to work in. You’ll then get an email each Friday to let you know whether there are any new posts advertised that meet your job requirements. When you first register for the service you should receive a confirmation email.
To register for alerts you must first have an account with fifedirect. If you haven’t already joined fifedirect, join the site now. Once you’ve got your fifedirect username and password make a note of them somewhere. You’ll need to use them to sign in again if you have to change your contact details, the sort of jobs you’re interested in, or to cancel your alerts.
Make sure you keep your email address up to date in your fifedirect account so that the alerts get to you!
You only need to join fifedirect once to take advantage of the range of services on offer; facility alerts, school closure alerts and job alerts.
To set up your alerts, or to change any of your details in the future, sign in to fifedirect. You’ll see a new menu called “My Options” on the left-hand side of the main homepage. Click on “Alert Services” and then “Job Alerts”.
